2020 may have been a weird year but there is still plenty to be excited about on the auction block; Mecum's block in particular is one of the best places to look. Take for example, this extraordinary 1972 Challenger resto-mod, which is set to go under the hammer early next year at Kissimmee between Jan 7-17th.

A Lot Of Highlights

via Mecum Auctions

There are plenty of highlights and cool stats about this car. Like several Challenger's we've looked at, it has an awesome engine, in the form of a 6.1L Hemi with just 250 miles since restoration. It is finished in a quite menacing Mango, Black, and Silver paint scheme matched with a black and orange interior, that really pops out at you every time you get into the car.

What else stands out about this car? Well, there are a few custom parts on it to make it a truly unique resto-mod, including a custom Pro Touring build, a custom hood, and a custom chin splitter that features adjustable rods. The leather interior is all custom as well including very cool under-door Challenger script lighting.

An Amazing Sound System

If you like listening to music, you really won’t be disappointed as the car features nine speakers including an 8-inch competition subwoofer in its own custom box under the package tray that's powered by a DB12 amp.  So you are certainly getting one hell of a stereo system in a show-stopping car. If you can afford it and like resto mods, this Challenger may well be for you.
