The Aznom Palladium is a combination of many things. According to the designer, it's supposed to be one-of-a-kind and an "unexpected automobile."

Aznom, an Italian coachbuilding company, unveiled the Palladium in 2020. It's a V8-powered luxury limousine with 4x4 capabilities that looks like a mix between a Rolls-Royce and a Ram 1500. The Palladium is a "hyper limousine," and it's over 6 meters long and 2 meters tall. Its name came from Italian architect Andrea Palladio, who was famous for his spectacular Greek and Roman buildings.

The Aznom Palladium is not an attractive vehicle, according to critics. They even say it's unsightly. Regardless of how excellent the materials are, the critics claim that the interior and exterior aren't that good-looking.

While it appears that the Palladium is a bit tough to pin down, Aznom enjoys it that way. The vehicle's most noticeable qualities are its comfort, high-quality materials, substantial interior spaciousness, and durability. Famous Australian Vlogger Supercar Blondie said the Palladium is the world's first hyper SUV, while others termed it a hyper sedan.

Let’s take a look at what makes the Aznom Palladium so special.

The Aznom Palladium Is Luxuriously Designed

Only a classic fender breaks the horizontal lines at the rear, while the car's front and rear are like rough diamonds inside a continuous and harmonious design with smooth surfaces.

The rear is formidable, sloping down from the top in a coupe-like style to become more modern around the light - a single horizontal light source highlighting the width from side to side.

The rear fascia frames and accentuates the car's name above the rear bumper, accompanied by a performance diffuser and exhausts.

The designers built the interiors with the tiniest of elements in mind. A large back seat, comparable to a throne, gives plenty of comfortable areas for passengers, while hidden drawers and compartments provide a range of conveniences.

The elegance extends to the front area as well. When the driver gets in, they can see exquisite elegance without risking their ability to keep total control of the automobile in any circumstance. The dashboard and door panel follow the upholstery's pattern of materials and colors, with bright and dark leather spread out by wooden portions, complemented by solid metal decorations.

The engine is a twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter V-8 that delivers 700 horsepower and 701 pound-feet of torque. The Palladium, according to Aznom, accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds before reaching a peak speed of 130 mph.

Because the vehicle weighs 5,842 pounds, it needs a lot of stopping force. Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers bite into 408-mm discs in the front, and four-piston calipers bite into 380-mm discs in the rear offer the stopping power.

A mild-hybrid eTorque system is also available as an option. The eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronic-locking differential AWD system ensure that the four wheels receive power regardless of the arrangement.

The Car That Inspired The Aznom Palladium

The Ram 1500 is a terrific car. Its ride quality and rear-seat legroom are beyond comparison in the competitive full-size pickup truck class, and it also boasts excellent towing and fuel economy. Even the most careful eye will struggle to identify any problems with the vehicle.

V-6 and V-8 engines are available in various trim levels, all of which have a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic gearbox. A 48-volt hybrid system aids both engines; however, one can get the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 without electric assistance.

Unlike the traditional leaf-spring layout found in domestic competitors, every Ram 1500 delivers a superb ride due to a rear suspension that utilizes standard coil springs or optional air springs. Air suspension vehicles also include adjustable ride heights, which increase fuel efficiency and off-road capabilities. Its light steering and strong brakes allow for easy driving and confident stops.

The latest version of the Ram 1500 includes the brand's latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system as standard or optional equipment in everything except the lowest Tradesman model. Available with an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touchscreen display, Uconnect 5 promises improved response and over-the-air software upgrades that enable Ram to enhance the system in the future. New trim packages also arrive for 2022, including the Longhorn Southfork and Limited 10th Anniversary models.

The Palladium Is An Off-Road Treat

Palladium has a 5.7 liter Biturbo engine capable of delivering more than 700 horsepower and torque of 950 Nm, making it capable of conquering any terrain with two- or four-wheel drive. There were many queries on why make the car an off-roader, but the one that prompted the designer to respond was this one; "why develop a limousine that is also an off-road vehicle?" His reply was, "the 4x4 off-road vehicle is one of the requirements in touring isolated farms and vineyards.

And how many times have I seen cars stopped on the way to mountain destinations in the winter … the automobile that I had in mind had to be gorgeous, wealthy, comfy … but also unstoppable!"
