Jeep's Gladiator enters into a competitive marketplace. It's a mid-size pickup truck it not only competes with the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado but also the likes of the Dodge Ram, also under the Stellantis umbrella. With a similar aesthetic to the Jeep Wrangler, it looks rougher and more ready for the mountain roads.

Sitting underneath the stock Gladiator's hood is a modest yet perfectly acceptable 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar motor. This motor produces 285 horsepower and a 4,000 lb towing capacity. With endless customization such as half doors and soft top roofs, the Gladiator is Jeep's most capable off-roader.

For South Florida Jeeps, however, the Gladiator wasn't enough, and they pushed it even further.

The regular Gladiator starts at $36,380 for the base Sport trim. The most expensive model, the Rubicon, starts at $42,995. After options, these prices rise incredibly quickly. However, in the mid-size pickup segment, a standard Gladiator offers exceptional value. What doesn't offer such amazing value is the Oculus Tron 6x6. According to the eBay listing for the vehicle, it costs a mighty $220,000. For a point of reference that's nearly five times the price of the most expensive factory Gladiator model.

South Florida Jeep produces plenty of these 6x6 pickup trucks. According to their current inventory page, the cheapest six-wheel Gladiator comes in at $169,000. That model has a less powerful 3.0-liter turbo V6 engine. All Jeeps to come out of the custom Jeep shop have a vastly more aggressive stance. With increased ride height, larger tires and wheels as well as muscle car-inspired bodywork they all have an intimidating road presence. However, these features may not improve the Jeep's excellent off-roading capabilities. The interiors of these models see more luxurious touches that appeal to those inclined to the likes of the Range Rover and Porsche Cayenne.

The meanest and most aggressive Gladiator to come to the market, South Florida Jeep's model has six-wheel drive and a new body kit that provides a new style of stance. With the word 'Apocalypse' written down the side of the hood, it not only represents the brand it hails from—Apocalypse Manufacturing—but also suggests it is ready for anything.

With Kevlar coated fenders, a horizontal front LED bar and a covered load bay this looks less like Jeep's Gladiator and more like Tesla's Cybertruck. The exterior of the cabin looks largely the same as the Jeep. The interior is a different story. Bold red diamond stitching brings the otherwise black space to life. This matches the new trim on the steering wheel. Where the Jeep emblem once sat is now a red leather piece with a black mushroom cloud and once more the phrase 'Apocalypse'.

Another word adorning the side of the Oculus Tron 6x6 is 'hellfire', a reference to the noteworthy Hellcat engine beneath the hood. With 750 horsepower from the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi engine, this is over twice the power of a normal Gladiator.
