The Petersen Automotive Museum has long been a great place to see classic cars. Starting on March 12, 2022, the museum will have a new exhibit showing off a broad array of cars and motorcycles that featured in popular movies and television series. This new exhibit will be in the Omaze Hollywood Gallery, located on The Otis Booth History Floor of the Petersen Automotive Museum.

This new exhibit includes vehicles from movies such as Black Panther, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, and the Batman series of films. This includes the Ecto-1, which was the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor used as a rapid response vehicle in Ghostbusters. The converted ambulance will display in its original 1984 condition.

Another iconic Hollywood vehicle that will be on display is the 1981 DeLorean from the Back to the Future films. Producers used many versions of the DeLorean in the movie series, but the vehicle on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum is the only one that was in all three films.
