Ford has released a teaser video of the redesigned 2023 Ford Everest. This is the first showing of the Ranger-based SUV without any camouflage on it. The video also confirms an official debut date of March 1, 2022.
Teaser Video Gives Glimpses Of Everest's Exterior
The video begins with footage of a dark-colored Ford Everest driving inside a parking structure. It then pans to overhead shots of an Everest maneuvering through a series of rugged terrain. One of the details gleaned from this video is the availability of LED headlamps and running lights. The headlights have a C-shaped design resembling the F-series truck.
The redesigned Everest shares a platform with Ford's Ranger pickup. Thus, it will likely share the Ranger's 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine and 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive should be standard as it is in the current Everest.
Asia has always been the primary market for the Ford Everest. It has never been available for sale in the United States. The same should hold true for the 2023 Ford Everest since the Bronco leaves little room in U.S. showrooms for another Ranger-based SUV.
